The new story Bselect Whakatane has been part of the local community for years as a Bridgestone Select dealer. But since September 2024, the store has been under new local ownership — and with that has come a clear commitment to being something the Bay of Plenty has always needed: a full-service mechanical workshop you can genuinely trust.
What we do While Bridgestone's national network handles tyre sales and availability, our workshop focuses on everything else your vehicle needs. Car servicing, WOF inspections, brake repairs, mechanical diagnostics, wheel alignment, suspension work — we do it all, for all makes and models, with qualified technicians and honest pricing.
Who we are We're not a franchise call centre. We're a local team who know this community, know the roads around the Eastern Bay, and understand what Whakatane drivers need. When you bring your car to us, you deal with the same people every time — people who care about getting it right.
Our Bridgestone partnership As a Bridgestone Select dealer, we have access to one of the widest tyre ranges in New Zealand. If you need tyres, we'll connect you with the right product through Bridgestone NZ and take care of the fitting and alignment from there.
